Guarnaschelli has since been a judge on the program as well as in the 2011 season of The Next Iron Chef season four, where she finished third place finisher. Also, she took part on an episode of the Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast and was a loser. Following the conclusion of season 4, she became Geoffrey Zakarian's sous-chef. She became host of The Food Network's The Cooking Loft With Alex Guarnaschelli in 2008. There, she teaches a small group of students in the best ways to cook classic meals.
