Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain for The US women's Olympic gymnastics The 2012 Fierce 5 team, and in the year 2016. The Final Five. In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions as well as the floor exercise. For the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. This made her the Olympics gymnast with the highest number of medals. At the 2016 Olympics she won a silver medal at the team competition, earning her and teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being the first Americans to have two consecutive team golds. The silver medals also came in the individual all-around as well as floor workouts. After the 2 Olympics she took a break from competitive gymnastics during three consecutive years. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. Her favourite event is dance on the floor. She started learning gymnastics in the year she turned two years older. Aly believes in her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in honor of her grandmother who died due to cancer. She hopes to pursue the field of fashion, and hopes to broaden her line of signature leotards and socks later on. Fierce is a book that she plans to release later this year.
